Keywords:
BPOM, Social Media, Consumer ProtectionAbstract
The circulation of illegal cosmetic products using fake BPOM labels on social media is increasingly concerning due to the risk to public health. In this regard, the Jayapura Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BBPOM) plays a crucial role in monitoring and protecting the public from the distribution of these illegal products. This study aims to identify the legal protection implemented by BBPOM Jayapura against the spread of illegal cosmetics with fake labels on social media and the challenges that arise in its implementation.
Regarding children's responsibilities after divorce in Jayapura City, fathers often neglect their child support obligations, leaving mothers, as the holders of custody, to bear all the child's needs. Reasons for this include economic issues, new marriages, psychological issues, and the assumption that the mother is capable. Legal analysis shows that children's rights after divorce are regulated in Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage and the Compilation of Islamic Law, which oblige parents, particularly fathers, to support their children until they reach adulthood. However, many divorced parents fail to fulfill this responsibility, violating Article 14 of the Child Protection Law, which regulates children's rights and parental responsibilities after divorce. Children's rights after divorce are regulated by law, yet many divorced parents fail to fulfill their responsibilities, violating child protection provisions.
